Terms of Service

By accessing or using teamrc ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

teamrc is an open-source tool for synchronizing AI coding agent team configurations across platforms. The Service includes the CLI tool, web interface, and relay server.

The Service is provided on a pre-release, as-is basis. You acknowledge that:

• The Service is under active development and may contain bugs
• Features, APIs, and data formats may change without notice
• Service availability is not guaranteed
• Data stored on the relay server may be lost or reset
• There are no uptime guarantees or SLAs

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service
• Not use the Service to distribute malicious agent configurations
• Keep your authentication tokens secure
• Maintain your own backups of team configurations

By joining a team via invite code, you grant other team members the ability to push agent configuration changes to your machines via the sync mechanism. You are responsible for reviewing synced configurations.

You may not use teamrc to:

• Distribute configurations that violate third-party AI platform terms of service
• Process regulated data (healthcare, financial) without appropriate safeguards
• Configure agents for unauthorized access to systems
• Facilitate illegal activity

The teamrc software is available under the MIT License. Team configurations you create remain yours. Template catalog content provided by teamrc is available for use under the same license.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainer shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service. This is free software. Use at your own risk.

teamrc is a configuration management tool. It does not use AI itself. We do not control the behavior of AI assistants configured using teamrc, and we are not responsible for actions taken by AI agents operating under configurations synced via teamrc. Team configurations, including agent instructions and skill content, directly influence AI behavior. You are solely responsible for reviewing all team configurations before deployment. Template catalog content is provided as-is without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the CLI and deleting your local configuration.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated via the project repository, CLI update notices, and email (for users with linked accounts) at least 14 days before taking effect.

This Service is provided by an individual, free of charge, with no guarantees of any kind. Use at your own risk.
